As a Stanford Public Interest Network (SPIN) Fellow for Redwood City 2020, Tatiana supports the work of Redwood City Together and other projects within the collaborative. Tatiana immigrated to the United States from Colombia when she was 12 years old and has lived in California ever since. She recently earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University and will be graduating with her Master’s in Science in Community Health and Prevention Research in the Fall of 2018. During her time at Stanford, Tatiana was dedicated to directing programs in which first-generation children develop positive self-images and receive the support they need to be successful. Tatiana is passionate about immigrant health policy and community health. In her free time, she enjoys dancing bachata, salsa, and merengue. In the future, Tatiana hopes to become a pediatrician and work in partnership with immigrant communities to build healthier and more welcoming environments for all.
